Satya Yoga

Come home to yourself through movement, breath, and connection.

Yoga, for me, isn’t about achieving the perfect pose. It’s an opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and notice what is already here.

My Satya Yoga practices weave together intentional movement, breath, awareness, and the wisdom of the natural world. Rooted in Hatha yoga, each practice is an invitation to listen to your body, connect with your energy, and meet yourself exactly where you are.

Intention, not force. Awareness, not achievement

Whether you have 10 minutes or 75 minutes, roll out your mat and join me.

What is

Satya Yoga?

Satya means truth in Sanskrit.

To me, practicing in the Satya tradition is about becoming quiet enough to hear what is true for you - not the expectations, roles, or stories you’ve accumulated, but the quieter knowing underneath them.

On the mat, we practice listening.

We notice the breath.

We notice sensation.

We notice where the energy is flowing - and where we might be holding on.

Rather than asking the body to confirm to a particular shape, we allow the body to become a source of information and wisdom.

This is yoga as a conversation - an ongoing practice of listening and responding.

Rooted in the Elements

Nature is woven throughout my practice.

Earth reminds us to ground.

Water invites us to soften and flow.

Air creates space for expansion and connection.

Fire awakens our energy and capacity for transformation.

Space invites us into stillness, listening, and possibility.

Through movement, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and reflection, we explore these elemental qualities within ourselves - using the practice not simply to move our bodies, but to deepen our relationship with them.

Whenever possible, I also encourage taking the practice beyond the mat: feeling the earth beneath you, noticing the air against your skin, sensing the temperature, listening to the sounds around you, and remembering that our relationship with nature is one of reciprocity.

We aren’t separate from the natural world. We are part of it.

My Approach

I am a 250-hour certified Satya Yoga teacher with a practice rooted in Hatha, intentional movement, pranayama, and restorative practices.

But more than anything, I teach yoga as a practice of awareness.

There is no perfect pose to reach and nowhere you need to get.

Some days the practice may invite strength and movement. Other days it may ask for softness, stillness, or simply a few conscious breaths.

The invitation is always the same:

Listen. Notice. Trust what you discover.

Practice with Me

Your practice doesn’t have to begin in a studio - or require an hour of your day.

I’ve created free centering practices on YouTube so you can meet yourself wherever you are, with whatever you need that day.

Come as you are.
Bring your breath.
And let’s practice together.
